Title: USB Type A receptacle needed

A friends Acer Aspire 5517 has both USB receptacles damaged. I took the laptop entirely apart and desoldered the USB ports. Now I need replacement ports and have not been able to find them online without purchasing a motherboard for $100.

Does anyone know where I can look for these USB receptacles? They are about 1/2 the depth as most USB receptacles. Acer is of NO help. Warranty expired.

I told her to buy a Mac. Chicks.

I can't believe I found a replacement "kit" on flea-bay! They sell the port with some solder and solder wick! Hilarious!
