Use a 1/16th of a pinkynail's worth of carmex. It worked for my squeaky Mionix mouse.

The carmex for lips?

The carmex for lips?
The very same. I needed *something*, the squeak was unbearable. It worked like a charm.

I used paintball gun lube to reduce any squeak and clang on my Filco. I think it was my Shift keys that had a slight squeak when I pressed down on it and any key with a stabilizing bar had a sort of a jangle soon as you touched it. I put the lube where the bars met the key and the base of the keyboard and now even lightly tapping my large keys feel solid with no sound or play from the metal bar, it feels like any other key with out a stab bar. i used paintball gun lube because i had it off hand but i knew that it wont effect the plastic and it'll work well with metal. Anything thats thick and pasty should do the job.

When I looked under the squeakless keys of the WASD keyboards, they have white lithium grease:

I bought the Permatex. It works perfectly for all my boards.
