My filco will come with one so might as well.
-
Yeah, still using the plastic one that came with the Filco.
-
I plan to buy a cover; my room get's really dusty and I don't want the dusts to go into my keyboard.
-
never, i don't like condoms too.
-
Yes I use one on my hhkb pro 2. That plus some cleaning once a week will kep my bb happy
-
No cover for me but I do dust and clean the key tops usually once a week.
-
No, but I should. My cat enjoys walking on them.
-
I really like that HHKB one from EK. Tempting. But I definitely used the plastic one that came with my Filco when I had it. It's sturdy and form fitting. Something like that goes for $40 on EK.. blah!
-
I dont. Honestly I prefer having to clean it every now and then over having to bother with some flimsy plastic cover.

+1
-
I do but not all the time. If I eat at my desk I put the covers on them just in case.
-
I do all the time; I also use the cover anytime I am eating near my kb.
-
Yeah, still using the plastic one that came with the Filco.

Girl of the months panties, even though they are the size of a postage stamp.
Because I can.
-
Same as daerid.
LOL nirvana ;)
-
I do, but only because the keyboard came with a very nice cover and because it's new. I'm sure I'll get lazy in the future, never had a cover on my old keyboard...
-
Always. So much dust accumulates just overnight in my apartment (2 cats) that they would get kinda gross quickly if I didn't. I'm SUPER picky, though.
-
Nope and never will.
-
nope...too lazy to do that..
-
Only when the keyboard is not being used.

Well, it is quiet difficult to type with a cover on, so i would also only use a cover when not in use. ;)
And on topic: only when I am AFK for more days i cover them up.

Lol
Using a tenkeyless here and the other keyboard isnt in use so its just sitting there with its cover on:).
-
ugh dust getting on all-black keyboards is unavoidable it seems.
-
Instead of buying an overpriced piece of plastic, id rather make a hardcover from some polystyrene window
it bends by heating it with a hot air hobby blower, can be sawn with a jigsaw and is available in every hobby market
-
I would love to because I know my dorm room will get dusty, but I don't have one. I'll have to work hard to keep my Das clean, but it's ok; I'm up for the challenge.

When I am out or sleeping, then I have my cover on.
-
When I'm out for >1 day. Which isn't that often TT

So the solution 'vacuum more' doesn't enter into contention?
I don't need no steenkin covers, even though I have carpet at home.
And oh yes, for those who feel the burning need for one, problem solved:
