How can you color plastic? What is the most durable paint? I just HATE silver painted plastic and have a small appliance I want to paint black. Not keyboard, nor keys:)

If it's not too shiny, try DupliColor Vinyl and Fabric spraypaint (readily available at any autoparts store). I used it on my keyboard chassis with excellent results (ABS plastic)... it seems to soak in and not float on the top like most other paints.

I'm glad I'm not the only one!
I HATE that disgusting silver paint used on plastic. It's used so much, too.
Vharr had an article about painting keycaps --> I'm sure the process would be overkill for the general painting of plastic, rather than keycaps which undergo heavy use.

The krylon ultra flat black thats part of the "camo" line is really damn good for plastics (better than other sheens of fusion by a long shot) . Dries fast and holds up great. I also love the texture of it.
