Title: Wrist rest for both 104 & 87
Post by: Boyiee on Sat, 06 August 2011, 22:42:33
Not sure where this belongs.

I'm looking for a wrist rest that I can use for both a 104 and an 87 board. I saw the thread about the wooden ones and while it made me want one, I was looking for other suggestions. The EK leather ones run about 70$, and I think the larger sized one would work for both keyboards... am I correct in this? I know there are ducky ones out there too. Any other suggestions? Will a full sized one work best for both 104 and 87 boards?

If you do not like wood and you are willing to get a nice one get the FILCO.

I was told the EK leather are way nicer than the filco.

I've never used wood, but I'd be willing to try. Not sure if it would work as seamlessly with both sized boards however.

I'm pretty sure that the only difference in 87 and 104 wristrests are the length... So a 104 size would fit/work for anything from 104 size and down. but you might just have some extra length on the sides.
In terms of brands, the filco leather is well regarded around here, and the ducky in second place.

It wasn't EK saying it, it was forum members. I'll look into the ducky, and put filco back in the list.

How's the wood treating you?

That's why I made a thread. It just didn't seem right, and 70$ is a lot when you can bring in wood or filco for around 50$.
