I have a Dell Quietkey RT7D5JTW that I purchased from N8N as NOS. It has around 5 hours of typing time on it.
Although I LOVE this keyboard to bits I can't stand the full size nature of it. Every time I reach for my trackball my hand is on the number pad. So I'm letting this go for free but you need to pay shipping. Zipcode = 60148. If you're in the Chicagoland area even better as we can just meet and I can give it to you.
For those who don't know this is a high quality rubber dome keyboard; possibly the best you can buy without buying a Topre.
What will happen is you will give me your address, I'll take it to the post office and find out what the exact shipping charges are and I'll relay to you but suffice to say shipping will be around $9-$11. Since I am not making any money on this I don't want to get screwed on shipping. Obviously just giving it to someone in the Chicagoland area would be preferable.

Man, that poor keyboard gets no love... that'll make at least the third time it's changed hands in the last month... (no, I didn't particularly love it... don't tell it I said that though.)

Yeah, that's actually kinda funny.
You could always have it have an accident with a hacksaw so that it is tenkeyless.

I think you missed what I was saying. Use a hacksaw and force it into being tenkeyless. It's actually easiest to mod rubberdomes that way (depending on construction).

Like I said, depends on construction. If the bottom layer is a membrane sheet, then no. You just need to stick something non-conductive in between the two 'pages' (so it never triggers anything on the numpad) and fold it under where you aren't cutting. Everything else can be cut safely away. Oh, it also depends on if the controller is sitting right in that area or not as well, though you could try to move it.

I created an account just to respond to this thread!
Surprised no one here has expressed interest from what I can tell, unless you got a PM... I would be interested in this keyboard! Thank you so much for the generous offer. Excellent keyboard! I have one right now, but I put a LOT of use on them. I wouldn't mind stocking up about 3 or 4 of them in good shape to have to use for a long time.
I'll check this thread or you can feel free to message me if you like. Thanks again!

I'll take it if nobody else wants it. Thanks!
