I just found a Unicomp Spacesaver that appears to be in really good shape on eBay. Free shipping and its still at a low price.

A spacesaver that does not save space...
-
Well, compared to the normal model m, it saves a few centimeters at its two edges :)
-
Isn't that the spacesaver you were trying to sell on the classifieds thread?

Haha...wow, same pic. Maybe the seller stole his picture...
-
Yeah, the damn guy stole my pic!

Yeah, two scumbags really screwed me on this listing. Two people (apparently friends) have been driving up the price of my listing the past couple of days. They just sent me a message asking to cancel their bids an hour before the auction ends which I did since ebay always sides with the seller.
My listing is back down to $40. I am Fing irate.
Scumbags

Ouch, meanwhile the original bidder probably walked away long ago.
Some friends.
I don't know those people. I had 25 watchers on this listing that they probably now think is still at $75. Thats just such a scumbag move. I just don't understand people.
-
That's terrible.
I retracted a bid once due to mistakenly entering WAY too high a bid due to lack of decimal point but it wasn't intentional.

It's probably karma since you posted this topic and acted like you found this great deal...when it was really just your auction in the first place :P

Thanks for being such a nice guy.
I thought that I made it obvious enough that it was my auction. I'm not sure how thats "karma". You would rather buy from a random guy or someone whos post history you can check or ask questions or even contact in the future?
-
I guess that I shouldn't have worried too much. It still sold for a reasonable price.
-
Sold for $70. Not bad. Karma is a mysterious thing.

Ouch - the original bidder took it to $69.
Damn snipers.
Yeah, I feel bad for him. I really would have liked to have sold it to the original buyer. There was a lot of action in that last minute.
-
What do you think should I double box it or just send it in the same foam filled box that I got from Unicomp?
-
Thanks, I was sort of thinking the same thing. I feel better about it being double boxed.
-
Your original post did not. You posted that you "found" the auction. I don't think people should post their own items in the great finds forums. They should be posted in classifieds. Not trying to be mean.
Sold for good price, nice.

Worked out in the end, nearly getting back to the high bid. I've rarely actually checked but when I have the original bidder rarely seems to win. The original bidder is usually bidding bottoms up trying to get a deal, the winners tend to drop in a much higher bid most often as last as possible. Sometimes the original bidder will be the guy dropping the high bid but not typically from what I've seen.

Don't forget to add the two scumbags to your blocked bidder list. http://pages.ebay.com/services/buyandsell/biddermanagement.html
