Title: Black and white keycaps schemes?
Post by: dux on Sat, 13 August 2011, 05:33:08
I like Cherry doubleshots and I like them in black and in white. But, I don't know how to put both colors on one keyboard to be aesthetically happy. Proposals with pictures?

I was actually going to try to mix and match two sets of doubleshots...  I was thinking of making a set basically starting with a white/grey set and replacing all the grey keys with black ones.  However I don't have any white/grey doubleshots, so I'm just modding the all black one to work with a MX switch board...

sorry, no pics, because I haven't actually done it yet.

Go to the wasd website and experiment with their website until you find something you like.

I like the b&w retro scheme, substitute black for the beige. Basically the inverse of the pictured above.

Checkerboard is so mainstream.

For a true checkerboard look, you need a keyboard with straight column key arrangement, like my daily driver over here... something like the TypeMatix would checker even better though!
