Well, maybe not, but yours came out San-serif.

There are probably lighter variants out there that could more closely match up.  Probably not TNR, but not too far off.

Some form of TNR Condensed might be a closer match. Weight doesn't seem the biggest offender, but the original image hasn't enough resolution to get such matter on detail, as it eats serifs.
On the last post, stem weight is more approximate than X width.

Yes, it does seem to be a condensed version of Times New Roman, instead of a different typeface entirely.

One you might already have, if you have Corel Draw, which came with the Bitstream collection, is Dutch 801 Roman HD.

No, I see that their typeface is more condensed than this.

Ah, this (http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/adobe/times-new-roman/cond/) looks condensed enough.
