hi,
looking for a backlit mechanical keyboard right now. Backlight colour should not be a pain in the eyes like all those crazy bright colours like orange, yellow or whatever. I prefer "cold" colours like blue, white etc. Switches should be the mx-browns, keys and case should just be standard black, not glossy like the blackwidow. Wrist rest, usb port, headphone jacks etc would all be nice to have, but it's not that important.
The problem for me is that I live in Germany and the only backlit mechanical keyboard that can be purchased here without having the ship it from a foreign country is basically the blackwidow. The blackwidow however has mx-blue switches so that is not an option for me. I found some keyboards that fulfill my requirements. The Ione Xarmor U9BL-S / Tesoro M7. I have found out that the Ione Xarmor U9BL-S already is available in Germany but with a different name and from a different manufacturer. It's called QPad MK80 but however the MK80 is only available with mx-blue switches....I looked for Deck keyboards as well, but on their website they only have keyboards that use mx-black, blue and white switches. Do you have any other keyboard suggestions for me, I'm currently focused on the Xarmor because it fits best regarding my requirements.

If the lack of browns is the only thing turning you off of the Deck, the clears IMHO are what browns should have been. But you probably ought to try a board w/ clears if you can before spending full retail for a new one.

Deck, Xarmor, Blackwidow, Ducky Shine see which one you like or able to get.

Yes if you exclude the ugly look, the flat layout of the keys, the soldering needed to switch from PS2 to USB, the bulkiness, the lack of USB ports, the oddly shaped keys (often bleeding light), and the ugly fonts... :happy:

I feel the same way. :rofl:
The only one I would ever consider would be the Deck 82 but that has black switches, and it is still very ugly looking. Kinda reminds me of a keyboard you might take home after a heavy night of drinking.

But the TG3-BL82 has a splash guard so you don't have to worry about drinking too much.
