Title: Starcraft 2 Doubleshots Round 2

As of now, it will be US only unless someone wants to be distributor for overseas. I will not ship to individual addresses out of U.S.

Need a distributor for Canada and Europe.

This is a one-off order and this particular order won't be with Round 4.
There is a seperate SC2 key order for Round 4

Amazon Payment preferred, but can be Paypal.

Orders will close end of August or when we hit 50k key orders. lulz

These keys will be the same as the first set. Row 1 size I believe

These would be best for using 4 for your arrow keys, or as an escape key.

the idea of this group buy is to get these high-demanding-keycaps quicker then the ones you can get in group buy round 4. So, you are right but it doesn't help as i want these keys NOOOOOWWWW ;)

Negative. They fit windows key, control, alt, etc.

fakeedit: wait.. tab might be the same size.. See if you can swap windows for tab. If it works you're good to go.

Post by: Ragnorock on Sat, 20 August 2011, 04:05:54: So by the way you're counting keys, do you need 25 of each kind (terran, protoss, zerg, random) to break the price barrier, or 25 of each keycap size total to hit each price mark. (All of the 1.5 size = XX)

So of the current order:

Current Order:
Terran Esc - 7
Protoss Esc - 10
Zerg Esc - 7
Random Esc - 3

Terran Win - 7
Protoss Win - 8
Zerg Win - 5
Random Win - 4

You'd have none of them qualifying for even the first lower price bracket if its each individual one, but if its all of each kind, then you have 27 esc size and 24 win size, meaning the esc size would meet the 25 minimum and the windows still wouldn't.

Basically that means we have a really long way to go if its all separate designs, but we could easily hit the 50 marker and get a lower price.

I assume that with lower than 25 they don't get made, 25-49 they're in that price bracket, and so on.

Based on the talk I had with SP you get volume discounts per color and not per design. So if you were to order 25 of two different design you would get the same volume discount as if you ordered 50 keys - as long as the colors are the same for both. If you order 50 keys with a different color for each you would have to pay a massive amount for each key.

I'm guessing it's really easy to change design but it takes time for them to change the color.

Last time we used RCJ (Lavender) on NN (Black). Lavender is really the only choice that came anywhere close to purple. I think they came out well, even if I would have preferred a darker shade.

I live relatively close to the border with family on the other side and could potentially receive them in the US, take them across and do Canadian distribution but I'm not sure how much would be reasonable to charge for shipping because I've no idea what it costs to ship things up there. However the primary reason I haven't said anything thus far is that I don't have a regular schedule of when I go up there and it probably won't be till around American Thanksgiving. You could also send out invoices and in it write that they must include their shipping address in the comment of the payment and it must be a US address, otherwise they must notify you that you must be taken off the list. I'm guessing you contacted them via PM and I suspect most of those who haven't responded aren't regulars here who haven't come back to check their PMs or the thread and are just waiting for an invoice.

My issue exactly. I can look into that as the envelopes/packages that these are being sent in are probably pretty damn small and wouldn't be a big issue, however in the situation where (hypothetically) the actual shipping is an extra 1.00$ than expected, and we have 50 more Canadian orders, that's a situation I'd rather not deal with.

I posted well within the original deadline and never got any kind of confirmation. There were others that had the same problem so I'm not sure what is going on either.

Like if I send them an email saying I'm going to be picking up the Starcraft 2 keycaps group buy from here, will they be like wait what? I can't think of any other way to refer to them. I'm about to shoot them an email about the Portal Keycap group buy as well. They shouldn't have a Problem with the Portal Keys if they knew these were from SC2, but if they didn't then I'd have to word everything differently in the email, and thus why I haven't written it yet.

Update: I sent an email to Noodles about it and already talked to Melissa about potentially taking over the group buy but I'm going to wait a couple more days to see if he responds. I'd really like to get this buy going again.

If I take it over I'll be creating a new thread and collecting orders all over again. In the same manner I will not be collecting money until we see where orders stand now. For each order I will want you to both post in the thread with your order quantity and send me a PM with your email and order quantity in it. That keeps everyone's email from being public and allows everyone else to see how many orders we have. Once all orders have been tallied, I will send invoices out via PayPal to those emails. If you don't have PayPal get it or don't order.

I'm not sure what your explanation was, but this is 100% a copyright infringement, and they can be sued for printing these keycaps (I own a sign shop and run into the same copyright issues). That being said, my mouth is zipped tight. It's unlikely Blizz will notice, and it'd be even harder for them to track down the keycap maker.

Moments later I have 4 packs of 25 boxes in my shopping cart and it isn't asking for a dime from me to have them shipped to me. I figured I'd be paying for the box and the shipping in the process of buying the boxes... instead I guess I get the boxes for free and just have to pay the $5 when I ship them. Still trying to work out what shipping in Canada is going to be, but expect a thread tomorrow afternoon.

Those boxes I got are what I was expecting on mailing all along, they offer much more protection than envelopes and yeah, I'll be stuffing them with some sort of padding as well. I may do envelopes for this group buy, I did only ask for 100 boxes lol. The boxes hold more keys though (more useful for the Portal GB,) and are sturdier. I suppose I could save you guys a buck if I ordered those envelopes and shipped via them but I'm not sure if it's that big of a deal. You guys tell me. I was going to charge a dollar for the time it takes to pack and ship 100 orders, so $5 or $6 shipping to the US. Seems fair to me, and that's pretty much what most group buys are charging for shipping from what I've seen. Thoughts?

Canadian shipments will be shipped the week of Thanksgiving providing I get the keycaps before then. If not I'll have to either make a separate trip up or make you wait till Christmas lol. I'm starting new threads for this group buy and the Portal group buy now. Well starting to work on them at least. XD
