This may be stupid, but I can't find an answer.
Are the Poker and Poker X the same keyboard? If not, what is the difference?
Also, which ones come with the red PCB and which come with the blue PCB?
-
I'm 99% sure they are the same. Just people omit the "X" when chatting about them on forums.
-
That is what I was thinking as well.
So does anyone know when a poker comes with a red PCB vs. when they come with a blue PCB?
-
Poker is the short (chat) form of Poker X; they are the same KB.
The pre-production models were with PBT keys and a blue PCB along with build quality issues. The production models ship with a red PCB, ABS pad printed (IIRC) keys and fixed build quality.
-
The pre production sample sent out for early reviews etc, had a blue pcb. All production have a red pcb as far as I have seen.

Jason X is a hilarious movie.

Thanks csm725....that is exactly the answer that I was looking for.
Now I'm ready to buy the Poker with red switches and white pbt keys from GB #2.

Good choice. Its a lovely board.

Ripster, recheck yr facts on X and Y chromosomes. Males are XY, females are XX. So if the premise you were putting forth was that pink keys = female kb, then Poker X *would* be more appropriate than Poker Y.
Just sayin'.
