Title: Black Switch + Brown Springs = Reds?

Another question for my keyboard project. I looked at the specs of Blacks, Browns, and Reds. From what I saw from pictures, the Black Stem is exactly the same as a Red Stem. The only difference is the higher actuation force on the Blacks. So, since I can't buy individual Reds, and I'm already buying a Leopold with Browns, I was wondering if I could just buy a set of Blacks and change it's springs to Brown Springs.

Or maybe I can buy Reds somewhere. Taobao perhaps?

Yes, black and red stems are the same except their colors.  red, blue, brown have the same spring rate.  Black stem with blue or brown spring is called ghetto red.  Individual red switches are very hard to get or very expensive.  You may be better off to buy a PLU with red switch and harvest its red switches.  Some shops on taobao have red switches.  Army Group in Taiwan has red switches but EMS shipping kills the deal.

I think that's called "ghetto reds".  EK does have full sized reds now.

The red stem might be a little bit smaller.
