Does anyone know what type of mechanism is used for this Yanko keyboard?

That looks like a silicone keyboard, especially with the box on the right side of the num pad. The key caps and housing are molded as one piece of silicone. It is a rubber dome and the keys are wiggly and horrible to type on.

On the up side, he can probably wash his pants (at low heat) without any ill effects. :)
