Has anyone proven yet whether or not a full backlight mod is possible on the KBC Poker? I know it has all the holes in the PCB for the LED's but does this actually work (i.e. does it have the built in resistors to handle the leds and what spec LED's will work)?
I should be getting mine in after the GB finishes this month and would consider doing the mod if it is actually possible (as long as I can use any color other than blue...white preferably).

You mean like this???

This is the "PURE". The Taiwanese version of the Poker. Stay tuned for a GH group buy in a month or two. ;)

YES! YES! YES! Do we have any leverage over layout/programmability?
-
I thought the Pure was commissioned by KBTalking, and the Poker by KBC. They have different layouts as well.
-
That's right. I'm just wondering if KBTalking allows any customization for a large order.

Already looking forward to the groupbuy. I hope it will be an international one?!

Since you're in Austria, sixty at Deskthority said they will run the European distribution once it's released:

Still wish I knew the specs on what LED's I could put in there. Blue take a lot more power than something like red...would hate to overpower a bunch of LED's.

I've also been considering modding one of mine, though probably only partially. At the very least replace the existing blue with white or orange. As far as I can tell, 3mm led that would be used for computer case power/hdd indicator should work.
