Title: having trouble posting pictures

I have been trying to post pictures on a thread here but keep getting an error about my url not being valid. I have been typing it in properly but I'm not sure why it is not accepting it. Are images from imgur not accepted for whatever reason?

Also, I don't have permission to post attachments to posts. Is this because I am new to Geekhack? Thanks.

Bizarre. When I click on 'Go Advanced', the paperclip icon isn't there. I've tried posting on the Headphone thread and Computing setup thread as well and no paperclip icon. The only time I've seen the paperclip icon is after searching for threads on the SGI AT101W. Out of curiosity I select one of the threads and click 'Go Advanced' and the attachment icon is there. Any ideas on this?
