Hi all :flypig:
I got a little problem, my keys are getting shinny from my Majestouch 2 105 (German Layout).
The problem is i only can find keycaps for the 104 filco.
Do Cherry G80 / G81 keycaps fit into the Filco? Or do they have a different shape?

Is there no chance to get new pbt keycaps for 105 german/uk layout?

Sorry to hear about your issue darkblader. You'd think as expensive as Filcos are they would have more durable keycaps.
I'd recommend ignoring any shills/trolls that tell you "deal with it," they tend to have their own agendas and there's no reason you should have to put up with this.
If you can't find replacement key caps you could try sandblasting them, or even sanding them by hand if you have the time, superfine grit sandpaper, and something curved to lay the sandpaper over. See my KBC Poker link in my sig for my results from such an endeavor. Sandblasting would be easier and give you better texture but you need the equipment. In either case you'd also wind up with blank key caps obviously, so that needs to be acceptable also.
Good luck!

@ red-- How long did the sandblasting take ya? Looks amazing !! :)

Thanks, but I didn't sandblast, I did it by hand. But it's a very time consuming endeavor. If you have the sandblasting equipment it would be much faster.

@darkblader
i am thinking about buying a filco tenkeyless and get blank keycaps... so i could sell you the printed ones... should not be a problem if you didn't use your numpad a lot^^
OM me if interested (could take ~2 weeks because i didn't buy it yet)

LOL agenda.
I think stock Filco keycaps actually feel cooler when they get a little used and the look just means it's a tool that you've put some work into and shows it's something that gets a lot done. Even though I've switched all my Filcos to PBT keys I keep the stock ones around in case I miss them enough to put them back on (I get pretty close sometimes).
