One of the Maltron one-handed keyboards, aimed at people with disabilities or injuries:

These keep coming up on ebay(UK) then sell for bottom price or not at all.

I wouldn't mind having a left handed one. Wouldn't have to take my hand off the mouse... EVER

I'd like to see a L/R pair of them hacked to function as a split ergonomic keyboard - with a ridiculous number of extra buttons available!
I've not seen that many come up on UK Ebay for some reason - in fact, it's been a while since I saw any used Maltron stuff on there. I bought a Maltron two handed keyboard on there a while back and I regretted not managing to get a second one when the opportunity presented itself. I'll just have to keep looking I suppose; the one I picked up (and the one I missed) were cheaper than I could have got a new Kinesis or Maltron for. Plus it's nice to have the original of this style, even if the look and feel is a bit ... basic.

Absolutely true. I think it's just because they are very uncommon, and most people don't really want a single-handed keyboard since there isn't much of a gain unless you NEED a one-handed keyboard.
I have not owned a Maltron ever, but I tried setting a LH and RH together, all the extra keys would be virtually pointless, and I didn't care for the Maltron physical units themselves in that configuration. I liked the 1 piece 3D Maltron much better. BUT...it was interesting and there are some possibilities that someone could do something very cool and functional with that type of a set up. A new controller is a must.

Yeah, the first one started at 45 quid IIRC and sold for around 20.
I think they have only been right handed, it said he had a few in the first one that went up.
Was going to get one and break it for parts,
but thought that there might be someone that really needs one out there.
