Most of the links you've showed either ships within Germany/Austria or the EU

What does the site say when you have to select the delivery address?
-
I wonder if these guys will ship to the US?
-
It says this
( Erfahren Sie mehr .) Ändern Sie entweder die Lieferadresse, oder entfernen Sie den Artikel durch klicken auf "Löschen"
Google translate says they can't ship to this address.
I tried some fake UK or US address but that doesn't work. When I tried a German address, it worked.
-
Did you try one of the Shops from the Geizhals listings?
I think Jacob-Elektronik was shipping worldwide, I bought computer parts on several occasions from them and never had any problems.
Easiest way to find out might be sending a mail.
-
Jacob-Elektronik do ship outside Germany at least. I bought my Cherry G80-3000LQCEU-2 from there. And I live in Sweden.
-
I wonder how many will be interested if i manage to make a group buy for this product.

They are quite easy to get inside Europe. But might get decent price if you were able to get some wholesaler and redistribute those then.
-
hmmm... I have a good friend in romania who owes me a favour....

That depends on what prices that you can get.
-
Does this have a euro style enter key?
If so, what the heck does the "EU" designation mean? The G80-3000LPCEU has a proper ANSI enter key

That makes no bloody sense... I'm looking at a G80-8200LPB**US** and it has ISO enter!
What the heck, Cherry?

Hi guys i can get Cherry G80-3000LQMEU-0 , only 3 pieces. Supports only PS/2.
Anyone interested?
Price will be 75USD before shipped.
Need a response within 10 hours time.
Let me know if someone is keen on handling this 3 pieces.
I can ship from HK to US directly, instead of from HK-SG-US.
Thanks.
-
Damn, that is bloody cheap.
I just did another purchase, looks like have to pass on this one.

Anyone still keen?
Extending for the next 12 hours.

Wish I had $75 - why doesn't Cherry wake up and sell these in the US at least through one or two sellers.

I think they would, someone needs just to order a thousand or couple of them.

Newegg might be responsive to this if enough people asked their purchasing department to consider it? I've seen them carry far more esoteric things.
-
Yeah, but look at how many Cherry-made MX 'boards are actually sold on Newegg. Not very many.
What the US needs is another $65 G80-3000 special like 2009's LSCRC
-
Cherry G80-3000LQCEU-2 is not common as after a long time in the market Cherry have very low consumer response on this model of keyboard which is why it is not release in many countries over the world.
Even if you want to get this keyboard and Newegg starts to order.
i strongly doubt that they can get it immediately and the lead time might be as long as up to 3-6 months.
-
Which means that most people will just buy something else, because they can't get a Cherry board, and even if they can, it costs almost as much as a plate-mount board. self-perpetuating problem...

Cheaper, no?
-
that still just seems like a lot for what you get... yeah the keycaps are better but for the same price you can get a Rosewill which is plate mount or for an insignificant additional amount you can pick between Das, Leopold or WASD, again all plate mount and 6KRO over USB...

I've got an E-Mail from Amazon that the article is not available and was cancelled from my order, what a pity.
