One of my Cherry Blue switches came off with a keycap that I was replacing and was damaged. I've tried to reattach the switch and the spring with my limited knowedge but I think it's damaged, like I said.
Is there anywhere that sells replacement switches? Or do any GH members have old switches from a board I could purchase?
Also, a guide on switches/taking them off/replacing them would be helpful. Does that exist?
EDIT: just the blue top came off and when I put it back on it doesn't make the 'click' like it should. It is very stiff. Maybe the spring is broken, although it looks fine.

Blue switches are available for purchase from Digi-Key and Mouser, or if the stem, spring, and body are OK, I could probably scrounge up a switch top for you
Be aware if ordering a complete new switch that they come in two flavors, plate mount and PCB mount. the PCB mount switches have two extra pins molded into the bottom part of the switch assembly.

it's just the top that came loose and I'm trying to get it back in. I'm not sure if it's damaged or if the spring is bent or something.

what kind of keyboard? If plate mount it might be, um, challenging to reinstall the top without desoldering the switch. In which case I'd probably replace at least the switch body with a new one just in case the catches were slightly damaged and would make it more likely to pop off in the future.

It's a Filco and yes it was difficult to put back on. I've got it on but the click is now pretty dull.
