A couple days ago I emailed Das Keyboard asking about the availability of the Command and Option keycaps they once offered on their store at some point back in 2009 which had since vanished and become hard to come across. Today I got a reply:
Hi ----,
Thanks for your interest in Das Keyboard!
We are working on getting Mac key caps, and we will have them available very soon. I would encourage you to check our website, blog, Facebook page or Twitter feed for updates.
Sure enough, their twitter feed confirms this complete with a photo of the caps. Das Mac keycaps are making a comeback!

I know some might not care but it certainly makes me happy.

I registered just to reply to this thread. I've been a mac user for 5 years now and just got a Das keyboard (Professional S model)... man this thing is still loud for being the "silent" variety. I can only imagine how ridiculous the other one is.
I'm going to e-mail Das Keyboard as well and bug them about these keycaps. Hopefully then they'll come into stock sooner!

I was playing with my Realforce earlier – it makes my Cherry brown FILCO sound decidedly clicky. The description of "silent" for Cherry browns is an interesting notion (especially since it doesn't have any actual dampening, for example to cut out the sound of the switch returning to its up position, which Topre damp out in their silent Realforce models). And yes, Cherry blue switches are quite loud :)
You'll have to get one of each for comparison like I did with my two FILCOs, and I've kept both (technically; I gave away the brown and promptly bought myself another)
