Title: Help, trying to remove the keycap!
Post by: spirates on Wed, 14 September 2011, 17:43:02
Hi, iam sorry if there is a guide on this somewhere but i couldent find it..

Anyway, I spilled water in my Filco Majortouch (brown swithes) last night.. Now a few keys are harder to press down, and the worst keys dont pop right back up, instead it takes like a few seconds like if it was sticky down there. I asked on another forum what to do, and they told me to remove the keycap to see if there is water down there... But i dont know how to, ive removed the plastc key so i now see the brown thingy.. where do i go from here..

Or should I just buy a new one ;<...... costed me 150 euro with shipping and all, so dont really wanna do that. I live in sweden.

Is there no way to remove the stickiness? Instead of oiling it in I mean
