I just got my first mechanical keyboard and after a few games(WoW, Borderlands, CS), I can definitely feel the difference. The click clack noise is awesome! Even though its a bit louder than expected. The keyboard itself was heavy for something so small but it felt solid and you can tell its a quality keyboard.
Are PBT keys quieter or louder than this?
Anyways here are some pics(Don't get why my cell phone flash keeps showing these white specs and excuse my messy desk, I literally just got off work and put this baby on the desk!) And oh yeah.. that's not my current rig, it's an old one(My current one with the HAF 922 case is in my work area disassembled as I'm putting some new parts in and doing some cleaning).
Nice box! Was so excited opening it that I ripped the first tab on the box lol..

Congrats on the new keyboard. Which switch type did you get?
-
Brown.. its pretty loud.. can't imagine what Blue must sound like lol
-
You were right :-p.. I cant stop typing on this keyboard.. gdi
-
Yeah, after trying every switch type, I keep coming back to browns (even though I really like PCB mounted blacks). I'm probably gonna sell off all my boards and just have a -10key for home and a 104 for work (need that numpad for Pro Tools, son)

Great board man! Yeah Browns are definitely the work horse switch. Good choice.
