Hey Guys,
The Multicam Filco's are now arriving at web retailers now... Based on their Majestouch 2 Keyboards but with slight changes.
Thoughts? "Wow how tacky!" or "Sweeeeeet..."?

Personally, I like the swapping of the windows key with the Fn key, braided chord and included extra WASD included. Not sure about the Camo look though...
-
Not crazy about the camo...
-
Lets go kill Bin Laden again. One of my wifes friends was married to a Navy Seal. Man, that dude was f***up but the dinner party stories were amazing.
What happened to the poor chap?
-
I'm all for the Windows key going. The other day I pressed it-game and went to desktop. It was Day of Defeat: Source...I died. :(
I NEVER use the key anyway and if I did, there is a second on the board.
I've got money coming next week. I'm on this like white on rice. I actually like the camo look. Since I'll be using it for FPS, it is kind of cool. Sadly, those WASD keys are worthless for me as I use Colemak. I'll have to dye my own.

Needs DIP switches for making that FN LGUI again.

What switch are you thinking of getting it in outta curiosity?
-
I LOL'd.
I wouldn't actually mind seeing more universal availability of different colours, but this is ultra-basementastic. I do like the new features though.
If it can be ordered in a less stupid colour I might give it a try - especially since if I am not the mistake from the clear translating in the Japanese English to of the site, the board, it not have the plate of metal?
-
This keyboard will probably replace my Das with media keys.
-
You will need this mouse:

Blacks for FPS I believe, though I have never tried Reds. I think I will be getting a Blue switch for typing, but I am not sure if I want two of these...I like being able to tell my keyboards apart. :)

So is there anymore info. on this? Will they be at Amazon/KBC for next month?
It says "Amazon soon." Let's hope. Now that I've confirmed that Filcos through PS/2 are compatible with my PC, combined with the sloped profile compared to my Deck, I am hell bent on getting a new Black keyboard. I think I'll keep my Deck for something different. My hands like different positiones. And the LEDs are the ****.
-
I think I will get one. Hope that I can buy from amazon and not armygroup.
-
What's wrong with ArmyGroup?
-
Expensive shipping, higher price, additional paypal fees.
-
:(
I'm with you, brother. Amazon is wonderful.

onoez why no digital camo ?

Double layers is adopted for a new board. Through a hole of each switch has been firmly soldered.
With this, it can release any excess load or vibration that you make when you type in to a board not only to a metal plate inside.
It enables you to enjoy a better typing feel!
Does that mean that they've opted for a board-mount instead of plate-mount setup?
-
Will this new board actually be better for typing a little bit? Because I was planning on getting a plain Black Filco in a Blue switch...This could change that.
-
Nope.
Have a look here:

and here:

Same inscrutable description. Not sure what they are trying to say exactly but the pics seem to make it clear they are still plate mount boards.
-
Doh, I should have noticed that. Well, I already have a Majestouch 2 and it is perfect enough lol. What could be improved? I didn't want 2 of these. Thanks.
-
They should have camo-ed the keys too and removed the printing. Ready for Typing of the Dead.

That would truly be "Otaku." Not only can you not see the legends, the camo would make it so you couldn't see the whole damn keyboard on your desk.

If your desk looks like a woodland it either has a totally awesome paint job or badly needs a clean.

I'm with sinis, would have liked to have seen digital camo. *That* might entice me to get another filco.
I'm especially fond of the snow pattern used by the Marines. Good stuff.

Any Marines here that can confirm this is the actual pattern used in the field, or is this just a photo-op situation?
