Hey all,
I recently saw here a big (huge ?) mousepad mentioned and you could buy stuff to put under your mouse specifically made for mousepads (even maybe for that particular mousepad). My GH-search-fu ain't strong for I can't seem to find it back.
Anyone see what I'm talking about?

Oh I see, thanks : )
It already helps to know that the "thing" is called "skates" (non-native english speaker here : )

Amazon has something they are promoting with Filcos...... I think it might have been Steelseries. It's like a roll up pad and is oversized.

enoy21, this mousepad isnt huge though !
TacticalCoder: I don't think skates are meant to be used on textile-mousepad. Maybe somebody else could comment on this ?

Mouse feet is the more common word rather than skates. Using the words skates almost makes it seem like the mouse ALREADY has some built-in feet, maybe it's just me but I never was fond of "skates". Unless you mean mouse tape(like the old icemat with slicksurf teflon tape).
It's called a "Deskpad" like the ripper xxl or the corepad version which I believe might have been discontinued. Similarly the filco deskmat is another one or the lawyer/accountant leather-style drafting mat. There's also a few other brands out there from some gaming companies but they are lesser known. In reality deskpads are pretty pointless despite the fact the ripper gives you nearly 1 meter of length it's the surface that people buy mousepads not necessarily the size primarily. Sounds like an odd thing to say but if you buy a large low-sens mousepad and don't like it because of the surface then it's a waste of money. In your case your wanting to place your arms on top so they don't hurt against the desk but I still think your not gonna like it for your mouse if your not into soft-slow cloth.
If your talking about mouse feet, seems like you mention both. Then it's simply the matter of finding the type of feet for your brand of mouse. Most prefer hyperglides due to the a variety of reasons and always seem to be a popular choice despite the amount of time it takes for them to ship with some waiting as much as a month or more for it. There's other brands but you always find someone mentioning hyperglides, whenever someone makes a thread. Shame they just don't start offering more ceramic mouse feet already or some other stronger material, in the end like a mousepad they too wear out eventually.

On their site, Razer lists also Goliathus Extended (920mm x 294mm x 3mm) in both speed/control options.
