I knew they would be available sooner or later! I'll be getting one with blue switches once they're in stock. :)

Haha, still using that fail controller.
-
If it 'fails' because it's not OSX compatible, I don't give a ****. lol
-
I'll be expecting lots of pics when you get it!
-
Isn't it actually a fail by Apple and mac OSX then a the keyboard producer?
(serious question btw)
-
Well, someone said it work under Mac, I did not have a chance to confirm it.
But, it is there, you know, petty good staff.
-
Well, I just bought one through taobao, I'll take a few pics once I get it.. which is in two weeks? lol
I didn't buy from ebay because all they had were black and brown switches. :(

Supposedly Choc Minis can work with Macs if you pass them through two adapters USB -> PS/2 -> USB.
I also tried mine on Linux (Fedora 11) today, and it had some issues until I plugged it into a PS/2 adapter.
-
qtan has it for cheaper on his website. http://www.vendio.com/stores/E-sports-Gaming-equipments/item/mechanical-keyboard-noppoo/new-white-noppoo-mini-mechanic/lid=19308307
Ebay is such a pain in the ass.
I want one one with cherry black switches, or red.

As I understand it (not an expert) Mac OS X uses a feature of the standard that Microsoft does not. The keyboard only understands the part of the standard that Microsoft is using. That makes it easier and cheaper to make but it is not following the full standard.

choc mini does work with that chain, i've done so with my choc mini and works fine with a few kinks like ~ being the mapped wrong.
edit: this was tested on osX leopard and lion

Probably the best noppoo I've yet seen. Where are the keycaps from?

LOVE IT. Those cherry corp 2-shots look amazing! And with the RGB caps, damn, that just takes the cake.
I'm gonna have to order one of those today.

I'm especially interested in where you got the green right shift key. I'm looking into buying one of these keyboards, and I'm wondering where to get replacement keycaps.

The double shots came from Ascaii over at deskthority: http://deskthority.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=568
They were harvested from G80/81-3000 winkeyless keyboards. (hence why you could use the ctrl and alt keys on the noppoo if you wanted)
The RGB modifiers came from sixty at deskthoirty as well. I bought up all the left overs from the "mistake" batches.
One set included both winkey and winkeyless modifiers. They're sold out and not sure where you would get these anymore.

This DT group buy was derailed for a while, but looks like it will happen now. For those lusting after white doubleshots, it might be worth watching that thread to see if there are more available in the future.
