Title: Forum Search not working for me

All,

Try as I might, I just can't seem to get the Forum Search to work correctly for me (except maybe when I use the quick search). For example, if I try to construct a search to look for a keyword in a particular forum, I get no results. Most recently, I tried to search for "TKL" in the Classifieds. I have to believe there's something in there that would match! Is there something wrong with the default search parameters in the Advanced Search?

I'm using Windows XP (32-bit) and Internet Explorer 8 (in Compatibility View mode -- not my choice), though I've had trouble with it on other machines as well.

Thanks for any help.

P.S. I've successfully used forum searches elsewhere, such as Overclock.net, AppDeploy.com, etc., with no issue.

I don't know how to fix your problem but you can't search keywords that are too common and you must wait 30 seconds between each search.

Here is a workaround.
google:  site:geekhack.org "searchWordsHere"
Without the quotes.
Example: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=site%3Ageekhack.org+cherry+mx

Bleh. This could be my problem. How do I judge what's too common? Is "TKL" too common? Hmm.. Maybe it's too short. Maybe "Leopold TKL" will work?
It's annoying that I can't search keyboard terms on a keyboard site... Thanks for the Google tip, though. I've already been relying on Google a lot, but I haven't always focused my searches on just the geekhack.org site.

Ah-ha! Success! I searched with the keywords "Leopold TKL" and got many results. My search queries must have been too short or too general.
