I'm looking at buying another KB, as I want a mech at work, and also my desk is being downsized so I won't have room for my M$ ergo anymore (going from 5ft down to 3ft of desk space.) So I plan to take my choc mini to the office.

Meaning I want another board from home. I was thinking of getting another choc mini, but wouldn't mind something a bit different, was toying with the idea of a Razer BW, but unsure now, the gloss and the gamer-ness of it puts me off... Ideally it'll be TKL and preferably blank keys, although I don't mind buying another set of caps down the line, the CM grabbed my interest, especially from what was said about it, I just hope it has a US release date sometime before I go out there next. The PLU 87 is another option - but that got some slightly negative comments, so I'm hesitant about getting one. Or, as mentioned, I could just get another choc mini this time with blues instead of browns.

All in all, my max is $130-140, what would you suggest for that?

Choc mini is a really good choice as long as you don't have a Mac.

But if not, then it would be my number 1 TKL recommendation. (Maybe go for one black and one white to make checkered boards :P )

The Leopolds have all that you're looking for in your price range. I can't comment on the quality personally, as I have yet to get mine, but I hear they're nice.

I would go with a poker if you want a small form keyboard. Would recommend the HHKB but that is out of your price range.

2nd that I have the same keyboard and I am really enjoying it. I think for the money its a pretty nice keyboard, and the brown switches are have a nice feel to them. Of course this is just my opinion and im an idiot so take it with a grain of salt.

I would get the noppoo choc mini white

better keycaps than the poker and cheaper

I was eyeing up the white choc mini, plus it'd save having to learn\unlearn new macro keys. I'll have a wait until the reviews of the GH backlit...
