Hi guys, is there a hard wired Drovak version of Model M or has anyone moded model M for Drovak layout yet?

You should check out the USB controller mod for the Model M. That's one possible way to do it.

You could also ask Unicomp. Maybe they can custom program one for you.

I've wondered this too. You'd need non ridged f and j and whatever the Dvorak homerow keys are ridged as well as a ya know what... You can! An AIKON keyboard controller can be built and programmer fairly easily:) goodluck

My PS/2 to USB converter supports DVORAK layout just for *demonstration purpose*. But you will be able to make your DVORAK dedicated version converter with small code change. See my mod article.
And my firmware also can be used as keyboard controller so I think you can embed it inside the keyboard such like other model M mod.
