Hey guys.
Since it's very hard to get replacement keys where i live, i was wondering if keys from a Cherry G83 would fit my keyboard.
I think it's a rubber dome keyboard, but does that matter, when i only need the keys?

The steelseries 6Gv2 is as far as I know a cherry Mx Black keyboard. Keys from tho eld cherry G80 or G83 should fit.
Please note, the 'Bigass" enter key will likely be an issue.
They will not, however, fit a rubberdome board., unless you do an improbable amount of modding.

Edit: I meant G80 (mx) or G81 (my) keycaps should work :p

Well, the G83(-6104) i´m talking about, is a rubber dome keyboard, so i guess the keys won´t fit my 6Gv2 :(

No it is not compatible. Only g80 or g81 series keycap will work in MX switch. The other series have a different stem mounting. Where are you? I have seen keycap set on TaoBao which has the appropriate enter and 3rd row keys (short right shift, |\ key) for Steelseries which were black with red legend.

you can make any filco compatible key set work with a extra key or 2 and by modding the spacebar though you will have to give up your big Enter and go back to a normal size one. I recommended getting the keys from WASD as you can order the extras that you need to make everything work properly.

Hello, i hope somebody can help me.
Today my right shift keycap from my steelseries 6Gv2 broke.
I have luck, because im still in warranty.
But im looking for some better keycaps, specially for the uncommon keycaps like the short shift keys.
Does the Keycaps of a G80-1800 fit in to the 6Gv2 ?
Sorry for my bad english im from germany ;-D.....
