Title: PCHome Shipping
Post by: nineteensc2 on Sun, 09 October 2011, 16:42:15
Making my first order of a mechanical keyboard here in a few and had a few questions:

How long does it normally take to ship to canada? (I'm from Toronto)

What are the chances that I'll be hit with extra fees?

Also, just to make sure this:

http://global.pchome.com.tw/DCAH0X-A50118368

is a ducky, tenkeyless cherry mx brown?

Thanks for all your help.

Why not buy from TankGuys (http://www.tankguys.com/mechnical-keyboards/cherry-mx-brown-switches/ducky-keyboard-mx-overclock-net-edition-tenkeyless-brown-abs.html)? It may be a little pricier, but wouldn't it be easier as a whole?

I didn't want to bump a topic that was already solved and had misleading information.

Sorry.

Hmm, well it'll be like $15 more expensive. Shipping to Canada = $30.55 but maybe you're right

Hmm, I guess it depends if you really want to pay the difference. At least they give you almost the same rate as USPS. I would get it from TankGuys purely because I can read and comprehend any stipulations, which I can't do with PCHome.

According to the page of shipping information, the first table at the left, http://global.pchome.com.tw/?m=manual&no=26#01
it takes 4-5 days to Canada.

It may depend on the Customs and Excise Act in Canada.

Yes, the KB on the page above is Ducky TKL cherry MX Brown.
It is shame that PChome does not provide English version of its global shop.

If my post linked to in the WW Shopping Wiki under Taiwan is out of date please post in it corrections.

They are by no means out of date, it was simply a misunderstanding.
