Title: Difference Between G80-3000 and G80-3494
Post by: Retox on Mon, 17 October 2011, 16:49:46
I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on a board with cherry reds, and I'd like to try a board manufactured by Cherry themselves. This brings me to my question: what is the difference between a cherry G80-3000 and a cherry g80-3494. They look pretty much identical as far as I can tell, and i've heard a lot of good thing about the G80-3000.

The 3494 has nkro and is therefore better for fps gaming. That's the only difference. The 3000 only has 2kro.

Depending on the game you play. 2KRO is good enough for majority of you gaming need. I might want to get a 3000 eventually.

The 3000 however does have a NKRO of 4 at the clusters qwerasdfyxcv and uiopjklöm,.- (Ger layout). So fps games are no problem if you are using wasd.
