Title: Problem with my Ducky?
Post by: nineteensc2 on Tue, 18 October 2011, 09:53:29
Hey guys, just received my ducky with brown switches (tenkeyless), but I'm having a slight issue; the keyboard is slightly uneven?

When I leave my keyboard and tap the bottom left side of it, there's a slight wobble. This is even moreso obvious when I put the stands up at the back. I'm assuming the rubber grip thing at the bottom left side is slightly smaller in height than the other three?

Is there a fix to this? It's not huge but its definitely annoying. For example, I'm typing right now and its wobbling a lot and causing noise as I have a glass table.

Thanks for all your help.

Edit: It was my table lol.

Please delete thread.

Possibly.  Find a known straight edge (a ruler or something) and check for flatness on the case itself to make sure it's not warped.  If it turns out that it's not warped, then you just need to deal with the foot.  If it is warped, you can try to bend it back. This has worked for Filcos, Leopolds and other plate-mount 'boards.

Or you can RMA it.

Fixed the uneven table by putting a double folded scrap of paper undearneath the rubber grip on the bottom left.

Again, it wasn't the keyboard's fault, it was my table.

I have to say typing on this is really fun, even though my old keyboard was a logitech illuminated (laptop styled).
