Saw this go on sale today, I think I saw some people mention them before, comes with a $30 credit to boot.

With leopold reds being available from EK, and for less cost, how does this compare?

After shipping, EK comes to ~125... If you purchase things from NewEgg in general then the total cost of this is $100 plus a $30 investment toward your next NE purchase.  Since the Rosewill is a Costar board it's different than the EK, but many will tell you that the Costar stabilizers are nicer than the Cherry's on the Leopold, especially on a light switch such as red.

True, I do make make frequent purchases there. Darnit, I wanted to get a TKL, but this is a better value proposition.

Also bear in mind that the Rosewill takes a Filco-style spacebar (which is also what WASD sells).  This in my mind is the single biggest drawback of a Leopold.

I don't think so, but I believe somebody on this forum has successfully removed it.

If I buy a red board to appeas coworkers I will likely go for as low cost as possible. I will need a tenkey for there otherwise I would get a TKL in reds then take my browns to work.
