Hello!
I'm having some minor issues with the Majestouch 2 that I have received a few days ago.
The left "windows" key sometimes doesn't respond. It doesn't occur very often, maybe 2 to 3 times a day, but it is pretty annoying for a $140 keyboard. I almost never use the right windows key and I unfortunately don't have time to check whether it has the same problem.
I tried connecting the keyboard using USB and PS2 but the problem is still appearing.
The problem seems to occur when the windows key hasn't been pressed for a long time.
Is there a way to fix this? Ideally, I would like to return my keyboard and get another one but Amazon is out of Majestouch with Blue switches.
If Amazon doesn't restock within the next month and that there is no fix to my problem, I was thinking about getting another brand. Do you have any suggestion? I really like how the Filco feels and I would like to have a very similar keyboard.
I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 if that helps. Unfortunately, I don't have another computer to replicate the problem, but my previous keyboard was working flawlessly so I doubt that the problem comes from the computer.
Thank you.

Describe this in a little more detail.
How, exactly, does the failure manifest?
You have to hit it more than once to get it to acknowledge the key press or something else?
I unfortunately don't have time to check whether it has the same problem.
I don't understand what the time aspect is here. Can you explain why you 'don't have time'?
Is there a way to fix this?
Step one is to pull the key cap and see if there is anything obvious going on.
Is there any dust, gunk, whatever, visible?
Give the switch a blast of canned air to see if you blow out any junk.
I am going to assume you might have got this through the Amazon shopfront of The Keyboard Company.
Is that right? If it is then more help may be available by contacting them http://www.keyboardco.com/

Leopold / Rosewill / Ducky / WASD /
Good luck with this. Hope it comes good in a hurry.

The windows menu doesn't show up the 1st time the key is pressed, it would however always show up the 2nd time the key is pressed.

Ok, I just realized that I totally mixed up my right and my left... it's late here and I have had a long day. I will fix this in the original post.
Well, it's not exactly only about time. I don't use the windows key that often and I don't always think about using the right windows key. Also, the problem occurs so rarely. I will try to use the right windows key exclusively from now on.

There was no apparent dust or anything. I will try to use a canned air when I get one.

Thanks for the tip, I will try to contact them if there is no other solution.
Thank you for your fast response!

My recommendation is to get a WASD if you can deal with a full sized keyboard. Build quality is better than the venerable Filco.
