I've seen a bunch of guys post switches that they have made for their CST trackballs, but are there any available for purchase? I am choosing between the L-trackX and the Kensington Slimblade, and the only thing holding me back from the CST is the fact that there are only three buttons.

Anyone? I read the wiki and didn't see any other solutions other than DIY

If I didn't have school I'd do it. But I don't know if I want to be responsible for ruining something that expensive. The only hard part is soldering to the pcb inside the CST. If you have one with an external jack, it should be pretty simple. Just have a few lego plates so you can practice cutting the perfect hole for whatever switch you want to use.

mine took way too much time too ever make again, though it is very nice now that I have it.

Building your own is pretty simple. I'd take the CST route for two reasons, one CST will resell better, and two that they seem to be really nice. Adding external switches wouldn't be that hard, just make sure you follow ripsters guide.
