Title: Myy Keyy Chatter.

So, Let me start of byy sayying, everyyything in this is typed out as normal. every double letter yyou see is happening on it's own. so, What can I do about this problem, I've tried blowing it with air, and re soldering the switch. Is there anyything else I can do besides replacing the switch?

It looks like it's just your y key. Maybe try disassembling the switch and covering the contact with rubbing alcohol? That could potentially clear out anything bumming around down there.

If it is only the "y' switch then a new one is only $2.

So in 17 minutes you went from typing a post on the keyboard, to having it immediately disassembled, got out your soldering tools, heated up the iron, de-soldered the switch, took it apart, figured out what was wrong, fixed it, put the switch back together, re-soldered it back on, and reassembled the keyboard, logged back on GH to post that reply? Damn I wish I was this efficient.

I assume it was PCB-mounted, then.

It's really not that involved. I could do it in 10 minutes if pressed.

Yes I did.
I have one of those instantly hot soldering iron gun things. I desoldered it, popped open the switch, cleaned it with rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip, blew it out with compressed air, and soldered it back on.
took about 15 minutes

Hoorah! I was basically right! Though I don't think I would take a q-tip to it. If cleaning CPU heatsinks has taught me anything, it's that q-tips like to leave particulate matter and fibers wherever they go. But if it works, no harm done!
