Hi fellows, i have a laptop that have what can be consider the worst keys/switches in the whole planet, i did a search for laptop key replacement and was unable to find anything on the topic.
Have anyone done a switch for mechanicals on one of these, or is there any other way to improve the quality of this things. Any input, threads, help will be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, with laptops you're pretty much stuck with the keyboard it comes with. This is why keyboard feel, IMO, is a more critical factor when laptop shopping than raw specs.

laptop keyboards are superthin, like 5mm thickness or something lol, and that's the whole board (you can remove the whole keyboard, it's like 10 sheets of paper thick)

Just use the amazing technology called USB to plug in a keyboard of your choice. Otherwise, really try before you buy if you can.

Laptop keyboards are usually low-cost replaceable modules. On some models just pulling the keycap off is a somewhat permanent issue which basically breaks it forever. Those scissors switches can be a real ***** to reassemble without factory automation.
