Sold -- IBM SSK: Bolt modded by me, key caps replaced due to unremovable stains. Currently in UNIX layout, but can switch to ANSI or ISO on request. $140 as is, $150 in ANSI or ISO layout.

Sold -- Model F Terminal: Model 6110347. Tested with Soarer's adapter code, and fully functional. Does not come with adapter. Needs a good cleaning, but otherwise in good shape. $75. I purchased 2 of these, but only use 1 of them. As can be seen in the third image below, there is some cosmetic damage below the function keys. This is actually the better of the two top cases I received.

SOLD -- Kinesis Advantage: Model KB500USB-G-blk. Black, with palm rests. Fully functional. $125. Could never get comfortable with it, and I'm not a big fan of Cherry switches. Second owner, but neither of us put much use on it.

Bolt modded IBM Model M 1397000 Terminal emulator. Currently in UNIX layout, can be converted back to original layout. $90 as is, $100 converted to different layout. Came to me as NOS, so will come with original box. I may still have the driver disks that came with it as well.
Both the SSK and 1397000 come with PS/2 cables and are fully clean, inside and out.

Damn that's a nice price for the SSK. Any pics?
-
Nice price for the Kinesis too. I recently bought a factory-fresh wallet-cleansing one.
The Kinesis is an awesome board. Someone will get to try one at a more than fair price. They are the best way to learn to touch-type. I learned to touch-type and use Colemak at the same time on a Kinesis. Highly recommended.

All of these keyboards are in my office on campus, and there is a home game today. I will try to get pictures posted this evening, after I can actually move around over there.
-
I've attached some pictures to the first post, for your viewing pleasure. The fourth keyboard (the 1397000) will follow shortly, as someone is currently borrowing it until their new keyboard arrives.
-
Pm'd you back theferenc, thanks for the pics. :thumb:

Bump with update on pending sale.
And really, no one is interested in the SSK or the Model F?
-
Interested in the SSK, but don't have the funds at the moment. I wish I could put it on layaway.
-
Just wondering what is the UNIX layout? I never heard about such layout :-( . Are you referring to swapping CAPS LOCK for CTRL?.
BTW GLWS :-)
-
I like that SSK. Good price too. Too bad I recently bought one, and I can't justify another purchase... :(
-
UNIX layout is what the HHKB has. It's based on the Sun Type 3, as well as older IBM UNIX keyboards, among others.
It's more than just swapping caps lock and control, but also moving the backslash, the backspace, the escape key, and the backtick. It also splits the backspace into two keys, as you can see on the picture.
-
mmm if this delays long enough ill take it..
-
Really, no one interested in any of the others?
-
Kinesis sold and shipped.
-
Im interested in the Model f, but im afraid of the shipping costs to Sweden. And i guess i'd have to get one of them Teensy things to get it to work, right?
-
You would need a teensy, yes. And I'm just guessing, but I would say shipping it to sweden would be at least $60, if not more.
Oh, and if you want to save on shipping, you could have a teensy sent to me, and I could just put it in the same box, since that would also have to be shipped from the US.
-
If you go online to the Post Office site, they will deliver large flat rate Priority Mail "Game Board" boxes (be sure to specify that) to you free of charge.
They ship for $14.95 domestic and $57.80 International but you can be sure of the price in advance, and delivery is pretty quick.
PS - they will fit even an F-122, and make great keyboard storage boxes, too!
-
Well, there you go. Apparently it's a little under $60. I was pretty close with that guess, I suppose, just a little high.
Thanks, fohat!
-
PM'd about it :)
-
The more I look at your SSK, the more tempted I am to modify the layout on mine. Where did you source those keys?
-
Actually, they came from a different 1397000. I have several, and only use one at a time.
That reminds me, I need to post a picture of that...
-
Model F pending.
-
