I have a bit of an OCD when it comes to storing all these keyboards that I now have...
I purchased a SSK recently, and it's a little too much for my fingers to handle so I want to store it away. But I had no box that would fit it appropriately, so I'm just curious to see if there's anyone out there with an extra box in decent condition.
Thanks in advance.

Oh...

Too OCD to just use a plain carboard box

Maybe I'll try to make my own box...
Would you happen to have the dimensions of the box? And perhaps a picture of the inside? lol...

The only medicine I take is the loving kind. (http://images.coolchaser.com/themes/t/330207-i227.photobucket.com-albums-dd83-SEXI_*****07-weedheart.jpg)

just wrap it in plastic and stuff it under the sofa.

Go online to the USPS website and look for Large Flat Rate Priority Mail "Game Board" boxes. You have to specify "Game Board" because regular large flat rate boxes are too square, but Game Board boxes are just right.
They will deliver packages of 10 to your doorstep, free of charge. They can be assembled inside-out, but are still marked "Priority Mail" on the brown side, too.

Good idea, doing that as we speak! Thanks. But if someone actually has a box to sell holla

M (https://shop.usps.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10052&productId=10007423&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=10000002&top_category=10000002&categoryId=10000036&top=¤tPage=0&sort=&viewAll=N&rn=CategoriesDisplay&WT.ac=10007423)in order is actually 25, but I use these to ship Model Ms. They rock and are cheap and fast. They come preassembled. You would have to rip the seam apart and reglue or retape them shut.

One of the IBMs has a box with it, not an SSK, but maybe better for your OCD if he's willing to sell separately.

About 2 months ago I ordered 10, but I, or they, made a mistake, and I got 2 packs of 10.
Mine came flat and I had to expand the sides by pushing, and seal the ends by folding tabs. The top tab had an adhesive strip.
If they don't come flat, they will take up a lot more room.
I did have to slice one edge apart to turn them inside out.
Edit: Wait, you're right, they are packs of 25. Woo-hoo, I have enough to last for months or years!

Such NICE boxes.....

Dude, why is your SSK so nice?
-
Why don't you just sell me the SSK, and then you don't need a NIB Box?
-
I can't argue with someone who enjoys a nice, pretty box. I do too!
