Title: this for a first mech?
Post by: NaturalHacks on Sat, 12 November 2011, 08:25:02
trying to find a mechanical keyboard with cherry mx blues to be primarily used for sc2 and general typing. Ideally under 100 NZD delivered with a reasonable layout, the closest thing i could find is the "PLUM". I was thinking of ordering with it with taobaobee, thoughts? anyone know about/own this KB

thanks in advance

I'm also looking for a keyboard, first timer here :-)

Although I wanted a classic, white/beige one but the Rosewill series look very good.

I think Irock or PLU87 has better build with similar price.

Rappoo uses fake cherries (quality is doubtful). I have heard a lot of bad things about the iRock but it would be the cheapest.

how about the flashget g200 that looks to have a decent layout (good backspace normal enter key) and is very affordable

They are a yellow switch which was not produced by cherry and it suppose to be a in between switch between red and black linear switch. Reaper did a quick review on it and there as some disscusssion in the thred.

I picked up some white abs keycaps and a keycap puller aswell. I will probably write a review when it arrives
