I think that the EK price is not the problem, the problem is the high shipping price to UK

Have you emailed Brian at EK? He's stated before that international shipping quotes aren't very accurate. He can probably send them much cheaper.

Yeah, its the $15 postage to the UK that I object to. No I haven't emailed him yet, I will do. Thanks for the advice BiNiaRiS.

If he says he can't, let me know. I could order one and reship it to you. Should be no more than $2.50-$3 for shipping to the UK.

Perfect, thanks for the offer. I haven't asked him yet as I've been mega busy. If he says that the postage isn't going to be a great deal different I'd certainly like to take you up on your offer.
