Yo ho's! How long did it take you to break in your L-Trac? I've had mine for two days now, and there's still a bit of jerk when I move the ball slowly.

Got mine used came broken in ;). For any trackball I recommend upgrading your ball to http://tinyurl.com/clslhgd .

Mine still occasionally gets jerky, at least in feel, as if something got stuck in the rollers. Best thing to do is to spin the ball in all directions very quickly - that should smooth it out for a while.

This is why I wish they made a Laser DT225 with 5 button and some way to scroll using the ball without having to awkwardly hold a button down.

I've bought extra switches and will assemble them during the week :D Hopefully I'll be worked in during that time.

That costs more than my Trackball XD.
But, seriously, how do you know it would fit ?
Are L-Trac pool ball compatible ?

Yes. I need moar dpi. A separate scroll wheel makes the most sense.
