Title: POS/matrix keyboards without Cherry blacks?
Post by: Kurk on Tue, 15 November 2011, 08:38:29
Hi there,
in order to create my own custom keyboard I am looking for programmable POS/matrix boards. I've found a few but they all seem to have Cherry blacks which I incidentally don't like for typing. So the question is:
Do you know of any POS/matrix keyboards with switches other than Cherry blacks? (browns or blues would be nice...)

Cheers!

Most of them are pcb mounted, just swap out the stems and springs.

There's the Cherry G80-1950 which uses browns

To be honest, I've only seen Tipros from inside and they were all plate-mounted.

Oooh, nice one! Everything I've been looking for except for the card reader slot.
