Hi,
interesting....currently I am watching "Stargate SG1" on TV and what do "the heroes of
space and time" do use with their computers???
Guess....keyboards of 1988 (not exactly)...undoubtly the good and sturdy
IBM model Ms!!!
I am very interested, where these great keyboards will also be sighted..especially
in "contradictionary sorroundings/context" -- for example in Science Fictions, at
Spaceships and so on...
Does anyone else has seen these keyboards in films, movies etc and where?
Please add your sightings.... :)
Best regards,
mcc

If you think about it, using buckling spring keyboards makes sense for TV / movies - without the loud pings, the audience would never know the keyboard was in use.

There's always "voice over" option available for post productions.
In fact, quite a bit of sounds in the movies (or tv shows) are reproduced in a studio by a specialist (foley artists they are called) during post production.

Yeah everything is so fake nowadays =(
I wonder what the sound guys use as their "keyboard" sound, a rubber dome isn't going to cut it.

Started a movie sightings post in my subforum. I've accumulated quite a few.

Should I feel myself being being robbed an idea or should I feel myself being honour, that I was robbed
by such a well known thief ? ;) :)
Please at least cite or link the original thread as the origin of "your" idea. Thanks.
