Title: Issues with Filco TKL Brown and Games
Post by: Notoriousxpinoy on Thu, 17 November 2011, 15:32:07
Ive been gaming alot lately and when I press a button alot(Spam) I tend to crash to desktop(Happens alot with World of Warcraft. Anyone having this issue? I tested this with my old G15 keyboard and it doesn't happen at all but it happens alot with the Filco and only the Filco. I don't know whats causing this... Anyone know what can be causing this?

Easy solution, watch where you have your hand resting. With the g15 you most likely have the game mode switch toggled so your windows key is not dropping you to the desktop. The Filco doesn't have a switch to disable the windows key so it drops you out.

Is the game actually crashing or does it just minimize it to the desktop?

Its Crashing to desktop not switching to desktop. It actually crashes the game. Its happening in Skyrim too.... I also went and tested on an older pc of mine and it does the same thing. It usually happens when I press the same key alot(Spamming).

I wonder if it's trying to turn on sticky keys or something.

Most likely it is a key combination of some sort that is causing it. If it is actually crashing. Check your windows logs
