Title: Looking for someone who can design a plate for the DOX
Post by: TheProfosist on Sun, 20 November 2011, 08:06:54
I am looking for someone who is capable of designing a plate for the new DOXs that we are making that will fit in a poker case.

Originial DOX (http://tinyurl.com/68m94xg)
New DOX tutorial (http://tinyurl.com/7hnlnne)

We have changed the DOX a bit since the model from the tutorial, so once a someone is found we will discuss everything further on the Original DOX's discussion page.

I think that I could do it with some good pictures and measurements of the interior of the case. I already have the position of the holes to mount the PCB  in the modded PCB layout from ishtob.

I dont have my cases yet as people are not wiling to part until they get the their Aluminum cases. I believe ishtob has a poker case maybe he could provide us with measurements. Also my layout is a bit different than ishtob's. I have a short left shift and a split backspace as well.

No problem with the layout modification. I'm wondering if it will be possible to have the plate supported around the keyboard and not just by the mounting holes.

I have a Poker case now so I could provide measurements though it may be best to go off the DOX or Pokers PCB measurements. A goo starting point might be the plate for the Phantom.
