Post by: Son of Gnome on Wed, 23 November 2011, 03:45:44
So my g35s just broke on me :( Does anyone know of any headphones will be on sale this friday? I also would prefer a mic on it as well.

I have a couple of Steelseries Siberia V2 (http://steelseries.com/products/audio/steelseries-siberia-v2)... best headphones I ever owned. Comfortable and with great sound... and very good built in microphone.

You probably won't like my suggestion, but if you are purely into good sound, get the Grado SR80i. Best sound you can get from under 100 and beats a lot of headphones that are over 100.

Good for gaming. Not amazing for music. Fairly good passive noise cancellation. The built in microphones is very nice. They're also quite comfortable to wear.

For a gamer like me, It's perfect.

What I use and it's best set I've had for gaming. Can find it on sale occasionally.

There is the AKG GHS1. I haven't tried it first hand yet. Though I do trust AKG more than your generic gaming peripheral company's stuff (despite not being a fan of the AKG house sound).

Superlux HD-668 B

Incredibly cheap, and apparently extremely good.

No mic with them though, get Zalman or something :P
