Title: Found a model M
Post by: vils on Sat, 26 November 2011, 15:37:22
I found a Model M keyboard today. No cord and no sticker that reveals when it was manufactured. The IBM sticker are in the left corner and  has the same beige colour as the KB. Any ideas about when it was manufactured?

Probably in the '91 - '94 range.  My '92s have that logo.

Makes sense. I found it along with a IBM model 70 PC. I'm on my way to transform the computer case into something useful. An IBM computer with a Model M keyboard for the kids. I have almost no Swedish KBs so making this into a "IBM tribute" for my kids would be nice. It's kind of hard to learn a 6 year old to type on a KB when lettering on the key doesn't match what is replicated on the screen.
Or should I be the ***** and give them otakus?
