Would I be crazy for buying it?
Not really: It's still cheap, is 21 years old, and has good-looking keycaps. If it has decent keyswitches, some people will be jealous of you. I've paid more than it's currently listed, just for the privilege of taking apart a broken electronic device.

Nonfunctional keyboards are all the rage there.
You can make it functional pretty easily with a teensy. You don't even need a PCB to do it.
Me, I'm planning on buying a WYSE 30 terminal keyboard and restoring it. It'd be like a poker, but better!
